HILLTOP Live is hosting a four-stop tour that will see #OneWayTraffic making its way to Pretoria, Cape Town and Joburg. The triple threat line-up includes Black Motion, Groove Afrika, Riky Rick.

Groove Afrika is an up-and-coming name in youth house culture. This DJing duo has established a firm cult following since their start in 2012. The music duo Kgabo Senyatso, aka Ma Groovana and Kagiso Kalane, aka Don Pedro are known for their video and single Sin City.

Witness The Funk is currently causing waves with their break out hit single, Nomusa. This also marks the inroad of the gqom trap sound into mainstream rotation, a sound that they championed themselves.

Since forming in early 2015, this KZN based group have amassed over 35 000 followers and are dominating the local scene.

Then there’s Robert, aka DJ Murder, who teamed up with Thabo aka Smol to form Black Motion in 2010. The two have been in the music production business for about five years. Their breakthrough came when they produced the hit single Banane Mavoko. They have since been performing alongside DJ Qness, Black Coffee, Djeff and DJ Oskido with their own tracks Rainbow, African Salsa, Fortune Teller, Talking to the Drums and more.

Riky Rick’s first taste of music was at a recording studio session with Bongani Fassie. It was by Bongani’s side that Rick was inspired to make his own music. He released his first single Barbershop featuring Da L.E.S. and quickly rose to fame with the release of his hit single Nafukwa.

He followed that up with Amantombozane(remix) featuring fellow recording artists Okmalumkoolkat, Maggz, Kwesta, Ginger Bread Man, Kid X, Nadia Nakai and DJ Dimplez.

Riky Rick’s major debut single Boss Zonke was a success, peaking at number 3 on the SA Top Ten. That is when he released his fifth hit single Sondela, which was dedicated to his real love, featuring Zano. The music video for Sondela featured his son, Pearl Thusi and Malik. In 2015, Family Values was certified Gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa for shipments of over 20 000 copies. At the MTV Africa Music Awards 2015, he won the award for best video for his hit song Nafukwa.

The Cape Town gigs is on February 6 at FW de Klerk Boulevard, featuring Black Motion, Groove Afrika, Riky Rick, Christian Tiger School, Phat Jack and Das Kapital.
