IDOLS SA contestant Loyiso Gijana 16, became the sixth contestant to be voted out on Sunday, and will return to his studies at Muir College in Uitenhage.

Having turned 16 when he first auditioned back in March, Gijana, from the Eastern Cape, was the youngest contestant to make the top 10 of Season 11.

He dominated the competition from the start.

He was one of the few contenders who received a yes from all four judges in his original audition.

Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo told Gijana he had a bright future in the music business, after his performance of Usher’s Good Kisser during the solo auditions in Sun City.
