Durban — The search for a missing 9-year-old boy, presumed to have drowned in Tugela Ferry, is expected to continue on Wednesday.

Medi Response spokesperson Paul Herbst said that the search for the missing boy yielded negative results on Tuesday.

Herbst said that the Medi Response search and rescue division assisted SAPS dive and K9 search and rescue units with search efforts.

“Despite deploying multiple resources across a vast area, no positive results were yielded and the search was suspended. The search shall resume tomorrow (Wednesday),” Herbst said.
