The stage is set for an impactful evening in Accra, Ghana, as award-winning radio and TV personality, Nomalanga “The Flame” Shozi, prepares to host the Socials With A Purpose (S.W.A.P) event on Friday, November 29.
Shozi will be at the helm of the “Afromantality Night”, which is dedicated to reinterpreting masculinity and sparking progressive change across Africa.
“‘Afromantality Night' will challenge stereotypes and encourage African men to embrace self-awareness, emotional intelligence and community responsibility.
“The event will feature thought-provoking fireside chats with leaders and public figures, aiming to inspire meaningful action and reshape societal norms,” read a statement.
Shozi will host the event for the second year running, following the success of the 2023 S.W.A.P event in Johannesburg.
This engagement is the latest milestone in a standout year for Shozi, cementing her reputation as one of Africa's most versatile and impactful media personalities.
Earlier this year, the multimedia personality brought dynamic energy to an airport-themed fashion showcase, celebrating two iconic brands, Steve Madden and Gert-Johan Coetzee, at their Spring/Summer 24 Launch.
She also co-hosted the 18th annual South Africa Film and Television Awards Red Carpet, the South African Music Awards, the Metro FM Black Carpet, the MTV EMAs and the BET Soul Train Awards.
As she prepares to take charge of “Afromantality Night”, Shozi will navigate vital discussions on how African men can redefine their roles in building robust communities and embracing more fulfilling lives.
