The Jainoodien Initiative, promoters of the Atif Aslam concert being staged on Friday, 20 July at the Cape Town International Convention Centre at 8pm, are pulling out all the stops to ensure that audiences attending the spectacular event will experience an audio visual extravaganza.
Aslam, who hails from Pakistan, is looking forward to his first visit to the Mother City. He has become a worldwide sensation with his personal albums and Bollywood songs receiving great acclaim.
Aslam has won more than 20 awards at every major awards ceremony in Pakistan and India and has been lauded for his impressive vocal abilities.
The Jainoodien brothers, Irfaan, Siraj and Niyaz are following in the footsteps of their late father, Sharief Jainoodien, who had brought many top Bollywood artistes to South Africa and was a promoter of note. They have worked alongside him in the past focusing on the production elements of the shows.
