It was a successful year for social media influencer and businesswoman Lungile Thabethe, who not only had her first child but also bought a house.

The mother of one, who gave birth in June this year, took to Instagram to announce the big purchase to her over 400 thousand followers.

To include them in her journey, she created a YouTube series about the renovations and has already uploaded the first episode.

“A new major renovation is happening!! Everybody stay calm,” she said.

“We bought our first family home and it needs a bit of shaping but we’re super thrilled to turn this Goldie into a modern Neoclassical home.

“But more especially excited to show you guys the entire process in my new Reno series on YouTube so subscribe and turn on notifications so you don’t miss an episode.”

Her followers and colleagues in the entertainment industry wished her well and said they couldn't wait to see her turn the house into her dream home.

“YAY, something to binge on! I can’t wait to witness you living out your dream, you deserve it all, gorgeous lady! I’m sat,” said Nomalanga Shozi.

Podcaster Madam Speaker added: “OMG! Looking for some inspo for the same kind of home, perfect timing! Can’t wait and congratulations.”

Meanwhile, Thabethe’s sister, Ayanda, continues to share her luxury aesthetic on social media and, with Christmas approaching, she hinted at hosting a fine lunch with her family following their indoor Christmas picnic.
