The University of Zululand (UniZulu) is thrilled to host yet another instalment of the Management, Business, Administration and Legal Initiatives (MBALI) Conference, one of its key events.

UniZulu said that the annual conference was initiated by the Faculty of Commerce, Administration and Law (FCAL) with the intent of creating a research-focused event that would inspire academics and delegates from business and government to use research to achieve developmental goals.

“Equally central to the flagship event was providing novice researchers and postgraduate students with an opportunity to develop and sharpen their skills, through interacting with experienced researchers.”

UniZulu added that since its inception in 2016, the MBALI brand has blossomed in an unprecedented manner. “ Its increased success over the years can be attributed to the perpetual support of Absa Group, a valued associate of the MBALI brand.”

Tholani Ncalane, the Absa regional marketing manager, said that Absa was very proud to be associated with the MBALI Conference and thrilled to witness its growth and how it has successfully forged relationships with both local and international universities.

Ncalane added that Absa had recently contributed funds towards the conference. “This sponsorship is a strategic partnership aimed at advancing knowledge and creating opportunities for learning and collaboration.”

The conference will take place from the 5 - 8 August, 08h00 – 17h00, at the Bon Hotel Waterfront, Richards Bay
