Tony Mostert, the curator of the AMK CAF Pension Fund, has been granted leave to appeal against a ruling in the Cape High Court.
In December last year, the court ruled that Old Mutual was not liable for losses suffered by the fund when the life assurer paid out pension fund money to Laurie and Jan Korsten in 1994.
The Korstens were the employers of the fund members.
