It is the baby boom season and we are experiencing more celebrities expand their families. One of them is American rapper Cardi B, who broke the internet when she announced she was expecting her third child.
Wearing a red satin dress with a bare belly and completing the look with an ostrich feather coat, the “Up” hitmaker wrote a long caption sharing her excitement.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you. You have brought me more love, more life and most of all, renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all,” she wrote.
“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and tests lying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Not only is she pregnant but she is reportedly also divorcing her husband Offset, with whom she has two other children.
According to several publications, including “The Hollywood Reporter” and “People”, Cardi indeed filed for divorce.
This comes after several cheating allegations, and although the rumours may be true, they might still stay together because it is not the first time that the two attempted to break their relationship.
In 2020, Cardi filed for a divorce and later called it off. The following year she got pregnant with her second child Wave Set Cephus.
Last December, the couple briefly separated when Offset was rumoured to have cheated with Chrisean Rock, which resulted in them unfollowing each other on Instagram.
This time, it was reported that the Migos rapper was seen with Big PrettyRedz, whom he used to date.
But the two quickly rubbished the dating rumours because PrettyRedz’ husband passed away in June this year, and she is also pregnant with her late husband’s child, which makes it likely that their meeting was innocent.
So the news that Cardi is filing for divorce could be a public stunt to promote her upcoming album.
Nonetheless, the Bardi Gang (Cardi’s fans) are happy for her and loved how she announced her pregnancy, through a magnificent photoshoot like she always does.
