South African export comedian Trevor Noah has politely asked KFC to share their Colonel’s famous recipe.

The request came after the “What Now?” podcast host shared a short clip on social media, where he recalled his mother attempting to make KFC for him during his childhood.

“I remember one day I said to my mom, ‘Can we get some KFC’ and then my mom was like, ‘We can’t afford KFC’. Then my mom said, ‘You know what honey, I’m gonna make you KFC’.

“I was like ‘What, that’s not possible ... If people could make KFC everyone would make KFC ... You telling me KFC doesn’t only come from the Colonel, how do you have the secret?’

He proceeded to add that they went into the kitchen where she fried the chicken and he was amazed at first but started doubting himself after tasting it.

“I’ll never forget, I ate it and then I looked at my her and I was like, ‘This is not KFC ... Why would you lie to me, why would you say you can make KFC, when you can’t’ ...

“And then I started doubting myself, why did I think my mother could make KFC ... If she could make KFC she would have opened KFC.”

Noah had his fans in stitches.

“Her KFC= kitchen fried chicken… not Kentucky fried chicken.😂😍,” wrote @belladulce615.

“My mom says i make KFC at home better than KFC it self 😂😂😂,” commented @_b_a_s_m_a_mostafa_.
