TWO people, including a teenager, were allegedly repeatedly stabbed and killed in their home in Effingham on Wednesday.
Garrith Jamieson, spokesperson for ALS Paramedics Medical Services, said paramedics arrived at the scene to find three people, believed to be family, had sustained multiple stab wounds to their bodies.
“An elderly female believed to be in her seventies and a teen boy sustained fatal injuries and unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for them. They were declared deceased on the scene.
“A female, believed to be in her forties, who also sustained serious injuries, was stabilised at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital under police guard for the further care that she required.”
Jamieson said at this stage the events leading up to the stabbing was unknown.
