Thula Thula derives its name from the Zulu word for “peace and tranquillity”. Steeped in history, this private game reserve is situated on majestic landscape, once the hunting grounds of the mighty King Shaka.
The tastefully appointed suites of the five-star Elephant Safari Lodge are decorated in an Afro-colonial style, while the romantic tented camp is reminiscent of a safari camp of a past era. Each spacious tent boasts a private viewing deck and a luxurious en-suite bathroom, complete with Victorian bath.
