Natal Spa Hot Springs & Leisure Resort has been an oasis for weary travellers since the 1880s – and remains the perfect escape from the stresses and strains of modern life.

Set in 320ha of KZN bushveld among Cambrian granite boulders that are millions of years old, the Natal Spa Hot Springs & Leisure Resort has views over the Bivane River and its birdlife.

However, the main attraction is its seven revitalising hot pools. The invigorating and healing qualities of hot mineral waters have been known for centuries. These waters have a temperature, at source, of 40°C. They are known as “Triple Waters” and contain carbonates, chlorides and sulphates with unique anti-oxidant properties.

The Spa is known for its cuisine – “farm-style” breakfasts at the dining room and terrace, light meals at The Bistro and delicious a la carte and buffet dinners. The Raptors Restaurant bar (open from 10am until late) and the Boulders Bar alongside the heated pools are perfect spots to share a drink.

Although most guests come to relax, the adventurous can tackle quad bike, hiking, birding and mountain bike trails, go fishing or riding.
