South African travellers eyeing the stunning landscapes, vibrant culture and lush tropical beaches of Indonesia can now breathe a sigh of relief.

The visa application process has been streamlined significantly following the launch of VFS Global's new Indonesia Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA) platform. This innovative tool aims to eliminate lengthy wait times at immigration and enhance the travel experience for all visitors.

With a dedicated website designed specifically for the e-VoA application process, VFS Global is setting a new standard in digital visa services.

According to company representatives, this new user-friendly system promotes inbound tourism while enhancing customer experience and pleasure.

Travellers will now enjoy the convenience of completing the entire visa application process online, receiving a pre-approved e-VoA before departure, and experiencing a much quicker and smoother journey upon their arrival in Indonesia.

The impetus for this enhancement resonates with the Indonesian government's objective to welcome 14 million visitors by the year 2025.

This initiative aligns with their ongoing efforts to bolster tourism infrastructure and services, showcasing Indonesia as a globally sought-after destination.

The new platform is available to nationals from all 97 countries eligible for the e-VoA, including South Africa. More information can be found on the VFS Global website.

Jiten Vyas, chief commercial officer and head of business development at VFS Global, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “As a company, we are constantly working towards innovations that provide a seamless visa application submission experience to our customers.

“The launch of this innovative, secure, and user-friendly digital e-Visa on Arrival platform for Indonesia will undoubtedly streamline the visa application process, making it faster, easier and more convenient.”
